Our Accomplishments
2011-2012
- August 2011:opening uOttawa card office, your one stop shop for all services with your uOttawa card. (www.uottawa.ca/uottawacard)-UCU Building
- September 2011: NEW-Tim Hortons location at S.I.T.E. with prolonged hours of operations. (www.foodservices.uottawa.ca)
- December 2011: NEW-Construction of Première Moisson (http://www.premieremoisson.com/) starts in the new Social Sciences Building.
- January 2012: opening of Toujours Gourmet sanwiches and Focaccia pizzas station at S.I.T.E.-Food Court.
- February 2012: Flex dollars and meal plans are now accepted at Pivik, 1848 & Café Alt. More new features and choices coming with your uOttawa card next spring and summer.
2010-2011
- Summer 2010: Renovation of the food court at the University Centre

August 2010: Launch of Quiznos and Bento Sushi in the UCU Food Court to the delight of students.
- Summer 2010: reorganization of the Rez Café in residence, increasing the food variety and now offering more convenience style items.

August 2010: 20 Multimedia screens are installed to better inform our customers of various offers on campus installed in several food locations
- September 2010: launching of a new incentive program for front-line employees to improve customer service across the campus
- September 2010: launch of four new concepts (Spice-(ethnic food), tapas, Montreal style smoked meat and mussels bar)
- November 2010: creation of a new survey on the Food Services on campus (15% increase in the rate of customer satisfaction)

January 2011: launch of two new concepts (Gourmet Macaroni and Cheese and Eastern Europe)
2009-2010

March 2010: Rez Cafe has a convenience concept, and is now open 24/7 .

February & March 2010: UCU Food Court- New food options available: Sushi bar, fresh pasta bar, fajita bar, and Thai noodle soup bowls.

January 2010: Grand opening of the newly renovated Cafe Ecolo in Lamoreux.

December 2009: A campus-wide, One Card consultation completed by students to assess their needs and wants.
2008-2009

August 2009: Complete esthetic makeover of the Jazzy restaurant.

August 2009: Completed a $5 million renovation of the main kitchen in the UCU.
2007-2008

October 2007: Opened a Second Cup outlet in the Morisset Library.
